Quickie music video about my last trip to korea

Nice stuff!

When the woman on stage started singing the song from the video, how did you do that? You just happen to see her performing this song & taped her, then used the studio version of it for the video?

Also did you have an adapter for your camera, or is that just straight from the DVX itself, with some magic bullet settings in post production?

I'm going to Korea in the spring, before I do a 8-12 month shoot in Thailand, so it was nice seeing your beautiful country of origin!

Keep up the good work man, & thanks for sharing this video, you captured a precious time in your families life & made a good portfolio piece @ the same time!

The woman that performs that song is actually my cousin that we surprised in the beginning and she performed that song @ her school talent show. So I found the original song and used it and tried my best to sync it w/ her mouth.

No adapter, all straight camera stuff. I wish I had an adapter...I tried my best w/ Barry's shallow DOF technique (fast F stop and zoom all the way). I added some vingnetting through magic bullet and did some minor CC but that was about it.

You'll love it in Korea! And u'll get a bunch of people staring @ you so be prepared! :) What are you going to shoot there? Have a great, safe trip.

I thought that was her! You did a GREAT job syncing that up, very professional!

Either I'll have people staring @ me because I'll have a BIG ass video camera, I'm white, or I have 2 heads! I think it's because of all 3 (actually my 2nd head is Chinese! :) ).

I'm going to Korea to defrost before I go to Thailand, & I'm going to Thailand to shoot a documentary about foreigners living over there!

Keep up the good work & actually I think I'm going to look your family up when I'm over there, your brother look like he was eating some good food! :)
