hi, here is a quick shot (shot with camcorder and one with dslr)

Here are my observations :

DSLR = more dynamic range
color are less saturated, more reddish
i see some flares, it looks more dreamy.

Sometimes, with DSLR, the image is stunning and unique.
But generally, in the hands of a beginner, there are only sparks of really good footage (maybe 2 sec out of 10 sometimes).

How would you compare these 2 footage? (sorry for the camera shake)

Thanks in advance,

You pretty much answered your own question there. It's the user, not the tool.

How would you compare these 2 footage?

I see one camera that was properly white-balanced, and one that was not. Further, the test was performed in much-less-than-ideal lighting, exposing the bettter capability of a larger sensor in lower (poorer) lighting,

These are two different tools for two different jobs. Learn what each can and cannot do, and choose accordingly. And now that you have demonstrated the drawbacks of a small-sensor camcorder in rough lighting, perhaps you should look at them side-by-side under a well-lit location.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. A non-scientific test like this doesn't really speak for either camera so much as it does for whoever was controlling them. They both have a lot more potential than what we see there, I don't think it does any good to dissect the differences in quality between two poorly lit shots. CML has a whole heap of what I would call properly performed camera tests, I would have a look at some of those and try to replicate them if you want to really see for yourself how your DSLR and video camera compare.
