quick response please!

i have someone asking me since i cant lend my XH A1 for one days shoot, if they should rent a HVX200 and shoot hdv.

does the camera even shoot HDV?????? if one is si inclined to do it?

i realise how dumb this quesiton is but i really dont have tthe time to look this information up myself.

It most certainly does NOT shoot HDV

thanks, it wasnt a question of quality. someone just needed to know this.

the reason being, i am operating a shoot coming up with the XH A1, and one of the days of shooting i will not be able to lend them the camera so they are looking for a backup plan/rentable camera that will work in the same workflow. So i told them the XH A1, the XH G2, and the hv20 are going to be their best bet but i wasn't sure about the HVX200, or if it shot hdv at all. They want to avoid the hassle of having ot purchase extra items to use the p2 abilities.
