I want to use my Really Right Stuff quick release from my still Gitzo tripod for the AF-100. This would great for lock down shots. I need to get the universal adapter for camcorders from them. Its 14mm from center to center. It looks like that will work, I don't have a mm ruler to measure it and was wondering if anyone has used any universal camcorder plates on a AF-100.

Also would be interested in hearing from users if you are using these carbon fiber Gitzos with the AF-100.
I have a Miller tripod for video shooting but when tilt and pan is not involved this would be a nice light and less obtrusive way to go.
