Hey guys,

  1. How do you adjust the audio levels w/o the handgrip?
  2. How do you auto white balance from a grey card?
  3. Can the Gold Mount battery plate be swapped for a V-Lock plate? I'm not really keen on using a battery adapter that could get knocked off.
  4. From what I remember, High Frequency shooting in 4K goes from 30-60fps ** but not 23.95-60fps. ** Is that correct? And if so, if you shooting at 24fps you have to reboot to enter in and out of high frame rates in 4k.
  5. How do you turn on the wave form monitor (can't seem to find that)
  6. Can you mask the display/EVF to 4:3 format? (I'm getting some requests to shoot in a square format social media inspired projects)

MiLan Beat me to this but there is also an IDX v mount plate that works for the Varicam LT, I'll look it up and post it in a bit

1/ Audio levels - answered
2/ White Balance - Well doing a white balance from a grey card is a manual white balance. But I'd suggest going here for the answers to some of your questions - http://pro-av.panasonic.net/en/varicam/lt/html_manual/
3/ Battery plate swap out. There a few manufacturers that make plates. Pull off of the AB mount and replace. Its a fairly straight forward process. I use IDX plate.
4/ You're confusing frequency with fps. You set system frequency first. This is essentially what your play back rate will be. Then you tell your camera how many fps to record over that. For example 60fps on system frequency of 23.94 will result in you footage being over cranked (slo motion). TO do this you would first need to select VRF to ON. Now that's established you can shoot 4K in LT CODEC with any fps from 30-60 over 23.98. In standard codec you can shoot from 1fps - 30fps. Again this will be recorded over the system frequency selected.
5/Waveform - refer to that manual link I put above.
6/ refer Framemark under rec settings. Or you can put up display markers. refer manual.
