I recently started putting my movie together, I've loaded at least 50 clips now and Adobe Premiere has really started to slow down, and is freezing a lot now.
It's almost unworkable.
My computer should not be an issue, it's pretty top of the line.
I have a hunch it's the avchd files making it operate so sluggishly.
I did buy a book on Adobe premiere but not exactly sure what to look for, so maybe one of you guys can help me.
Is there a way to cut my clips, and then export them without converting them to another filetype?
I need a way to have all my media clips available, but not stored in premiere itself.
If this is a problem with premiere, should I look into getting a different editing program?
I've heard some good things about other programs, they don't seem to have the same problems.
I hope I made my problem/question clear, but if you don't understand what I mean, I can try to elaborate further.
Thanks for any help!
