Quick question about FS700 rosette

As far as I know, the rosette itself is the same as an Arri rosette but the threading is 1/4-20 instead of M6 like Arri rosettes usually have. Is this correct? I'm not missing any other differences?

For whatever it's worth, I bought a Movcam extension arm for the FS700, but it comes with M6 threads (so doesn't fit the FS700). I bought a couple of 1/4 -20 black plastic knobs, tapped the extension arm to 1/4 -20, and ground out the base of the knobs so that once screwed into the arms, they will twist freely. This was a long way to go, but I can still use the original M6 knobs (they still fit) should I ever need them. There are better solutions out there, but thought you might find this interesting.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. I've got a drill press and tapping gear, so it's not much to worry about for me. Where'd you get the 1/4-20 knob? Hardware store like Home Depot? Also, did you get the short Movcam extension?

I bought them on ebay. It was the longest Movcam extension they sell that is one piece.
