when editing a normal 24p footage in final cut on a 29.97... timebase, is there a need to preconfigure final cut's settings to export the final product with the pulldown embeded??
No, just don't remove the pulldown when you put it in the timeline. (Of course, there is a FCP forum here on DVXuser; you will probably get more authoritative answers there.)
