Quick help please

I'm going to download the video from the DVX to the macbook pro today. The hole on the DVX to hook the 4-pin to looks aweful small....doesn't the 4-pin actually have to go into the hole all the way?
Or does it partially go in? Kind of odd.
Maybe since I'm just waking up maybe I'm missing something.

I know about using a slave camera and I'm planing on buying one and not use the DVX, But I need to practice working with the Final Cut stuff. So I'm going to use the DVX this one time.

what do you mean?

Yes, just plug in your firewire all the way and power your camera on.
you should be able to capture it without any problem.

if that doesn't work, go to sleep. you just need more rest

I just didn't push hard enough. Being a little to cautious I guess.
Didnt' want to fource anything..cause the conector looked alot deeper than the hole.

Told you I'm still half asleep.
