FS7: quick FS7 question

Hello all and seasons greetings. I have been sent an FS7 to review but only with a Sony 18-200mm F3.5-F6.3 Sony lens to review. Can I control the zoom and iris on the lens via the 'arm'? Can't seem to find menu options in the 'lens' section on the menu?

If you have the SELP version black lens with a motor on it, then yes you can control zoom with the handle . If its the silver one - no.

Look around in the menus to control what the buttons and wheel;s control - I think in the system menu.
 
Thanks guys. It's the lens with the silver one sadly. That's the only lens I'll have to try with it. Once you add bars and follow focus rigs etc it, it's bigger than my f5 set up. Happy Christmas.
 
Aside from a slow and only barely passable usefulness as a power zoom, they're basically the same lens. Both lenses are horribly difficult to do manual focus with, they react o the speed of your hand on the ring and there is nothing repeatable - the ring keeps shifting. I'm disappointed in it, and their similar 18-105.
