Quick dvx100b display question

I am just wondering if there is a way to show in the viewfinder/lcd to show what time it is on the TAPE. I have tape view or what not on in the display menu. For those of you with experience with a sony mine used to show on the sony but i cant really figure it out on the dvx.

Anybody? I have the tape/battery in the "on" position and the battery shows... =/

switch other display to all
there's a couple of display options turn them all on and you'll find it.

Ahh okay thanks. I dont know why I didnt think of that.
