Quick Blu-ray disc question

Burners

OK, I know you cant burn a DVD image onto a DVD-RW that will play on DVD player. But am I right in thinking you can burn a Blu-ray image onto a re-writable Blu-ray disk.

The reason for doing so is obviously to make sure your image is OK before writing it to a 'R' and there for not wasting discs etc.

Thanks

What are you talking about?

I burn DVD images onto DVD-RW all the time. And I burn BR images onto rewritables also to check how they look on my TVs. In fact, I just burned a BR image onto rewriteable 2 weeks ago for a screening.

When I was doing mostly SD delivery, my TV at home was much better than the one's at the office. So I'd burn onto a DVD RW and bring it home for final check. Did that at least once a month.

Now I have a Blu Ray player in the office hooked up to a good TV and do the same final checks before I deliver.

Depends on the DVD player... some can play DVD-RW, some can only play DVD-R... Same thing goes for Plus formats (DVD+R, DVD+RW) as well.
