Quick 24p vs 60p light question

Burners

I shoot mainly low light events and currently use 720/60p

Going to move to 1080/24p but want to confirm that with the HMC150 there will be no difference in ligth sensitivity. I know there are panning \ blurring issues with fast pans etc in 24p but want to make sure it wont need more light than 60p?

Thanks..oh, and while I´m here, the following encoded in Encore:

1080/24p
1080/30p (as 60i for Blu-ray)

Will there be a significant different in quality when outputed on Blu-ray?

And

Using the above formats, would one downconvert better to DVD?? (I know better results can be had downconverting in other apps but I'm only concerned with Encore CS4 here)

Thanks again

24P, if anything, should give you even more light sensitivity from what I understand. Quality, in terms of sharpness shouldn't be different on blu-ray or any output format, just the motion rendition of 24 vs 60 fps.

A lower shutter speed will result in better light performance. 1/48 or 1/50 (24p) vs 1/60 (60p/60i/30p) isn't going to result in a huge difference, but 1/24 and 1/30 will result in a dramatic increase in low light performance, especially 1/24. The cost being an increase in motion blur.
