From my understanding, the Panasonic GH5 audio adaptor bypasses the Panasonic GH5 camera built in pre-amps and uses its own.
It records audio directly with the video footage up to 96khz 24bit.
Does anyone know the following:
Thank you.

Does anyone know the following:
- Does the audio adaptor have a direct audio out so that it can record simultaneously or either directly to an external device via audio jacks?
- How much better is the audio quality as compared to using the workaround of lowering the camera's built in preamp to 1 and then using an external preamp like a juicelink to make the level gains?
- Can the audio adaptor work as stand alone?
- Is the adaptor audio quality lower, the-same or better than using a portable audio recorder such as a Tascam DR-60?
- Would a hotshoe cable extender work with the Audio adaptor so that you can separate the adaptor from the camera or does it have special pin configurations that does not allow it? If not, is there a way of using the adaptor off the hotshoe?
Thank you.
