questions about reserving a Red

So I'm ready to put down my deposit for a Red camera and the zoom lens. I have some questions:

1. If I put down my deposit(the cam and the zoom lens) right now, I'm not obligated to buy them right away when they come out, am I? I need to save some money, but they may not be ready by the time the camera comes out.

2. If I decided to cancel my order in the future, will I get all of my deposit back? I know it says "fully refundable at any time" on Red's site. But I just want to double check.

3. The deposit will "hold" the camera for me so I'll be guaranteed to have one when I got the cash for it?

4. About the zoom lens. It comes out a year from now. So if I get my red cam early 2007, I'll have no lens to use untill the zoom comes out at the end of 2007. The 300mm lens would not be that useful for me right now.
 
What I meant is they are probably in the mid 700s Reds reserved so far so if you reserve one now you can probably expect to get your camera at best around June. So you have plenty of time to get the money together.

You won't have to pay right away. You will have time period to prepare payment, however, time period has not been determined.

Fully refundable any time. Must also return the Titanium "r".

Camera is not ready to be purchase by you when you got cash for it. Camera ships when ready and and then you must cough up cash within a period of time ot be announced.

As you know, camera ships late 1st quarter (target date) and zoom ships late in 07 (target date).

I know it is a bummer that the RED zoom won't be available at launch, however, there are hundreds of options to hold you over until the RED zoom lens arrives. Used cookes, zeiss, angies...some slr lenses canon and nikon manual. You can also rent in the meantime.
