Questions about GH2, T2i, 5D, 7D and PAL-NTSC Frame Rates

Hey Guys,

So, I am shooting a film about a flighschool in a week in Germany..

The question I have is first of all... NTSC or PAL.

I will be shooting with a T2i, 7D, 5D and GH2... The T2i is mine, and the 7D and 5D are all european.

So, I can either shoot..

PAL - 25fps,30fps on the Canon DSLR's
NTSC - 24fps,30fps on the Canon DSLR's

Regarding the GH2, this is an american body, can i shoot PAL with it?

What frame Rates?

PAL - 25fps,30fps?

or

NTSC 24,30fps?

What would be better to shoot in anyway? The film will be played through sites like Youtube and Vimeo.

Hello Phil,
I would shoot everything at 24p...
GH2 (even the European) does not offer 25p, so better dont complicate the situation...
Anyway you need it only for web distribution, so 24p will be just fine...

Ok, do you think I will have problems with fast planes at 24fps?

Does the american GH2 shoot PAL??

my 550D (t2i) offers 1080p24, 1080p25, 1080p30, 720p50, 720p60; and I think the GH2 will do so too (at least when hacked); in any case, I'd shoot 24p, for these reasons: http://www.macvideo.tv/camera-technology/interviews/index.cfm?articleId=3213230

FAST planes you said?
In that case 30p will be more safe I think, allthough I ve never used it...Im a PAL man...
In any case, since you re putting a GH2 in the game stay away from 25p!
