Questions about concert shoot

Hey guys-- I am doing a 3 camera concert shoot in NH on the 27th and would like to know if anyone may suggest a good setting to leave the camera on (I have a DVX100B) for best results for a band playing on stage (possibly with some sort of light show). Anything anyone woudl suggest would help. Also, the 2 good cameras I'll be shooting with will be my DVX100b and a 100A. What settings should I shoot this event in so that I may best match both cameras when editing this in FCP? I'm presuming 30P would be a good speed in 16x9 and then shoot squeeeze mode in the !00A... Anything anyone might clue me in on would help a great deal. Thanks!

I usually try these settings as a good starting point

Shoooting progressive 24P

1/25 shutter speed and open iris.. concerts are usually pretty dark

gain on Low unless it's looking really dark, then use as a last resort, but be prepared for grain city!

I'd usually shoot 4:3 but mark up your screen to 16:9. That way you can add bars later and still have room to shift your viewable screen area.

And of course white balance the two cameras at the same time and go through all the settings in the menu and match whatever floats your boat with master PED etc....

err. hope that helps.
