question on 2 cams FCP

My project has to be shot with a GH1 at 1080/24p and edited with FCP 6.01

my question is: if I my second cam is a GF1 which only shoots the maximum size of 720p ( am not sure what frame rates) and placed the clips in the 1080/24p timeline which my GH1 originally had, how will it affect the Gf1 clips, will it be pixelized or cropped? How do I integrate the GF1 in terms of frame rates and lookingeven in my timeline?
 
FCP will uprez them to 1080 and also interpolate the frames to 24p. They should not look too bad from an uprez point of view, but I have never had to take 25/30/50/60p footage and force it to 24p in FCP so can't comment too much there.

A lot will depend on what your target platform will be (i.e. DVD, Vimeo, Blu-ray, Cinema etc).
 
Also... any reason you have not updated to 6.06? It's free via the Apple Updates and fixes a couple of AVCHD issues.
