Question HVX menu

Hi There, This maybe a silly question.. But I just got my HVX-200 here in Japan.. The manual is in japanese... When I record and play back on my TV all the display menus are also displayed on the TV sceen.. How do I stop the dispaly menus recording to the tape.. But I still want to see the menus when I shot footage.. Cant read the manual... thanks for help regards getsy

Man thats a good price. $4,857 . I hope that was without P2 cards. I wish the dollar was doing better these days.
