Question For Rush (Re:EVS)

Hi Rush,
          Is there any chance that EVS will start online order shipping to the U.K. and the rest of Europe in the near future, as there isn't really anything like EVS in Britain and I am sure there would be a demand for it, seeing as B and H and Adorama do.

Hi Jonathan,
I personally have been shipping to my customers in UK, Japan, France, Australia, Italy, and New Zealand. ;D

Here are the main issues when shipping out of the US:
1- Higher shipping costs for the end user, because we only ship Fedex/UPS and no US Postal Service.
2- Possible VAT (Value added tax) and other duties and taxes which have to be paid by the end-user.
3- Sometimes we have to pay International duties at a later date, even a month down the road. This gets billed to us by Fedex/UPS. So then, after providing ample proof of such charges to the customer, we would need to have a CC on file for the customer to charge that additional tax and duty.
4- We accept Paypal and money transfers for Int'l shipping, but we need also a CC on file for the duties that may be imposed on us.
