GH4 Question for owners of GH4 AND LX100

I'm considering an LX100 to stick on a gimbal during shoots for quick tracking shots.

I owned a GH4 for a while last year & absolutely loved it. For owners of both cameras, how similar is the image if DOF is negligible (most shots will have aperture stopped down)?

I'm mainly wondering about DR and lowlight. Also, I own a Shogun, so wondering about compatibility w/ LX100.

I'd like to know too. Thinking about getting a LX100 to cut with GH4.

lx100 for portability, but for compatibility fz1000 would be better
