Question about working with Mac and PC

OK, I have Avid express pro on my PC at home, at school however they have avid express pro running on G5's.

Is it possible for me to use a fire wire drive between the two systems? If so how?

You can use a FIreWire drive between the two as a shuttle drive, but most likely not as your main editing drive. FAT32 can move between OS's but us limiting in its size. The latest OSX allows mounting of NTFS drives, but best used for copying files to the local OSX drives.
