GH4 Question about wifi capabilities

I'm curious to know if the wifi output can be used to monitor the video signal while using the hdmi out to record to an external recorder.

Is it possible to see the video full screen on an ipad? Just so a director can see the shot while the camera is on steadicam or otherwise untethered?
I would like to send the 4:2:2 signal to an external recorder like the soon to be released Atomos Samurai, would this affect the ability to output via wifi?

Edit: Nevermind. I just found this in one of the manuals: If you use the HDMI output during recording with [Bit Mode] in [HDMI Rec Output] set to
[4:2:2 10bit], the Wi-Fi function will be disabled.

The WiFi is delayed and in my opinion only good for checking settings remotely. It does have playback capabilities like transferring images and video to designated locations. I only played with it a little bit, and if I remember correctly the screen takes up 1/4 of the interface. It didn't work on my IPad (1st version) I had to use my Iphone. It could be useful to start and stop camera remotely, but you differently need to use HDMI output to monitor video.
