Question about the GH2...

Hey, here's a thought. I've read in a couple of places that the GH2 can take up to 40 stills a second with the electronic shutter. Now, it says it's not in full rez, so I wonder if it's cropped or downsampled (I hope downsampled for what I'm thinking).

Here's what my mind wonders. 40 individual pictures per second, eh? Wonder if you can fine tune that number... say, to 24?

Wouldn't that be wild...

It's downsampled at 4k resolution. tune it to 24 fps? even if you could you have to wait a few secs for buffer to clear

They're @ like 4 megapixels (if I recall) and it can only do it for one second. Still, they should be properly downrezed and stored with I-frame JPEG compression.
