Hey guys, I was reading the HVX book by Barry Green and I was confused about a couple of things.
First of all, he mentions that you can shoot in over 20 different frame rates, but what is the point of being able to shoot in 1,4,8 frame rates?
I know that it just creates a "style" or look, but i dont understand when someone would use 1 frame rate.
The second thing I am confused about is the "Loop record" format.
I understand that it records when you dont press record and then if you press record it will record up to however amount of time your p2 card has but then, does it record over the stuff you didnt press record for? I know it sounds confusing so let me try to simplify it:
if I have a 64 GB p2 card and am recording in high def at 720p/24pn. This has an approximate recording time of 148 minutes. So if i loop record for 100 minutes and the press record and record for another 100 minutes then does it just record over the first 48 minutes of the pre-recorded thing I taped?
anyway sorry if I sound confused/confusing, I am just scratching my head over it.
thanks for any help,
Nader
