Question about the ag-HVX200a and editing DVCproHD?

I currently have a Mac Pro 2.66ghz dual core with 5 gigs of DDR2 667 mhz ram. It appears that I will be purchasing a Panasonic ag-HVX200a, and I'm wondering what kind of horse power I will need to cut DVCProHD footage? Will my computer hold up, and if so, what else would y'all reccommend? I appreciate any and all advice! Thank you!
 
Thank you! Question, do you know what type of HD the Canon 7D supports? And would I have trouble cutting with my current system?
