Question about syncing two cameras

Hi recently i was on a shoot with two cameras one was a dvx100a and the other was a 100b.

Both cameras were first set to the same scene file settings and then later changed to default.

I noticed that the colors were a lot warmer on the 100a compared to the 100b.

Is this normal or should I be able to sync two diff model dvx's to have amost perfectly matching colors?

i've had the same problem trying to sync up a 100a and a 100b...definitely slightly different in color...i couldn't figure out a way to get them to match perfectly, though i'm sure something could easily be done in post...
 
yeah white balanced to no avail.

In the end we just gave up and decided that we would do the color correction in post like agentjonny suggested.

I haven't tried syncing two 100b's together but hopefully i'll have better luck when i do.
