question about squeeze mode....

ok shooting in squeeze mode are you getting a true 16:9 picture and are you loosing any of the picture that you wouldnt if shooting in 4:3??

according to what i've read on these boards u lose a little resolution but is negligable.

You can't really compare it to 4:3. But compared to native 16:9, it's not quite as sharp.

It is better, though, than shooting 4:3, cropping, and uprezzing in post. If you want 16:9, shoot squeeze.

It is not true (native) 16 x 9 and it definitely is not as sharp as native 16 x 9, but it is, IMHO, pretty decent, all things considered. Definitely shoot SQUEEZE.
