GH2 Question About Purchasing Sigma 17-50mm: Which Style?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I tried searching the archives to no avail.

I'm looking to purchase this lens:

But I have no clue which "style" to purchase (i.e., Canon, Nikon, etc.). Also, what adapter will I need in order to make the lens compatible?

I currently only own lumix micro 4/3rd lenses, however, I plan on purchasing a Canon prime in the future.

Nikon is often recommended because it will adapt to almost anything. However, if you have your heart set on a Canon prime, then it may suit you well to standardize on a Canon mount. Research the available electronic Canon to MFT adapters and pick one you like.
