My friend who I shoot projects has a T2i. She worked with a guy who was able to modify her camera to be brighter at night. She says he doesn't know how he did it. Basically it's just brighter at night. I think it's the ISO that is now brighter than before, but not sure. Not brighter as in turned up, but brighter as in the ISO 400 now looks like 800, and 800 looks like 1600. But that is just a guess as to what made it brighter, and it might not be ISO. It's not the aperture, of course, because that is in the lens. She says she that he said, that he locked the cameras readings, which makes it brighter. Now I don't know what that means and neither does she, that's just what she remembers him saying. I would like to do that with my camera. Any ideas on what he could have done?
