So does a 25mm lens made specifically for an M4/3 camera have a different field of view than a full frame Nikon 25mm used on an M4/3 camera with an adapter mount? That is, does the manufacturer of the M4/3 sensor accommodate the sensor size when making the 25mm lens? So it would be the same field of view on an M4/3 cameras as the Nikon 25mm would have on a full-frame camera?

The field of view of the two lenses is the same on the M43 camera. The difference is that the M43 lens is designed to give a smaller "image circle" - the area covered by the image at the sensor - because it only needs to cover a small sensor. The full frame lens has an image circle big enough for the larger sensor, but the M43 sensor only sees the central part - the rest is wasted.

No. Well, yes and no. Making a lens for a micro 43 camera allows the manufacturer to make a smaller and lighter lens. But the focal length remains unchanged. Also, if you put a m43 lens on a full frame camera you would get major vignetting.

Substitute field of view with angle of view. It might help to better visualize the concept. And remember, a 25mm is a 25mm is a 25mm, always. It's the sensor that changes the angle of view. Smaller sensor = narrower angle of view.
