Im sorry to make this STUPID question, but Im still trying to figure out how to work this camera. Where do I move the Iso settings? I cant find it. How do I move from Iso 200 to Iso 400???

Yeah - this sounds like a question best answered by the manual (that comes with the camera) or Barry's book (that probably came with the camera). I'll hint that there is a toggle, and a menu item that will get you there.

hahaha... come on guys... just tell... I promise ill read the manual.

You have three preset ISO's with the gain switch on the left side of the camera. In the menu under SW you can predefine which ISO goes with which gain level.

As editman has said the switch is on the LHS front as you hold the camera, a little 3 position switch

The camera has two modes Video cam or Film cam (you need to go into the main camera menu to change this)

Video mode - you get gain in dB's
Film cam mode - you get ISO

I believe it's the lens that rattles on the HPX171 when turned off. It stops when you turn the camera on and the only moving part is the lens with IS/ZOOM/IRIS control.
