Question about Head Cleaning Tape

I need to buy a head cleaning tape and was wondering if there is a certain brand I need to buy or is any mini dv head cleaning tape will due without harming the camera. If a specific one is needed, where can I purchase it?

a few threads discussing this already.

use the pana tape but use it as directed. they are abrasive. there is a fine cleaning post that you can do yourself if you feel up to the task.

as for where to purchase them? evs should have them or you can go to fleabay. they have brand new ones there for very little money...

I'll tell you a secret which is in line with the urban legend about the different tape manufacturers: use the same brand of cleaning tape as the tapes you're recording on. If you mix, then use the Panasonic one. I don't want to start again the whole story of dry/wet K-Y if you know what I mean...
