question about focusing...

I was just wondering, am i to assume that if i set my focus to like 95MF that everything will always be in focus, is there any downside for this for someone who's not shooting using a 35mm adapter. I understand that if you're zoomed in at all the focusing makes a huge difference but I'm talking about shooting full wide. Thanks!

At full wide and MF95 you'll be close to being in focus at all distances, yes. MF95 would actually be overkill, you'd want to focus at the "hyperfocal distance", which I don't recall OTTOMH.

The hyperfocal would change based on zoom and iris settings..., but yeah the concept and correct usage of the hyperfocal setting can be a useful thing especially in ENG or Documentaries.
