Question about a shoot

Hey guys,

I'm shooting a conference on my dvx100a. some speakers, slide show ect.

I'll be editing on FCP 6
The finished product will be uploaded for web viewing (vimeo) on the companies website.

What's the best mode to shoot to shoot this in. 30p, 24p, 24pa? I've done a lot of reading on the differences but it's left me still a little confused. For web viewing, what do people recommend?

thanks

Every one will have a different opinion, but you are on the right track. You really need to shoot progressive.

computer monitors are all progressive. so progressive will not be a question, it's a must. The thing is don't forget to put the camera on "squeeze" mode to get full 16x9,
unless of course you want to shoot edit and upload a 4x3.

conference? definitely 30frames per second (if not 60i)

if you shoot interlaced you can de-interlace in post.
But you (must) de-interlace before uploading anywhere.

any other questions don't hesitate to ask, I'll be more than happy to help.
