Hello,
This is kind of off the wall, but maybe sombody could help me out. I have been researching secondary sound devices for recording with the GH2 and have narrowed it down to the Tascam HD-P2 or the Ki Pro Mini. My question is about the Ki Pro Mini. I realize this is an external video recorder with two XLR audio inputs. My thought is to record internally with the GH2 as well as feed a video signal to the Ki Pro Mini while using its XLR for audio...
Would this:
1) Work with 720p60?
2) Create a perfectly useable audio track on the KPM?
3) An odd but good way to have secondary audio stay in sync with the in-camera video?
I would throw away the KPM video track and just use the 24bit audio. So video overlays etc... would not be an issue.
If anybody has the GH2 and KPM I would really appreciate your input, feedback or quick test.
Thanks!
