Right now I just hooked up my camera through firewire and then out of my cam to the TV for final output viewing. I was wondering if there is a way to bypass all of that and just go out from the card to the tv? I know a lot of video cards have other outputs. My current card is a GeForce 5200 i believe and i'm running two monitors. There is a small black round output in the middle of them but I dont know what it is. It ISN'T an S video out put... but it looks like the one one this video card... ( hard to see from the picture but it's the best I could find...)
What is this output? It's just got a good number of tiny holes but no slot for that little black rectangle 'peg' inthe S video cables. I was thinking that I could run out of there, if there is an adapter, to the input of my tv switcher where I have RCA inputs and well as S video. I'm not going to buy another video card with a specific S video out right now. Anyone know what that plug is for and will it work as an output to a third device ( tv ) while running my two monitors now?
