Hey everyone,
Quest for Adventure, my film from QuestFest, was officially selected to screen at the Austin Film Festival this weekend on October 23rd and then again on Tuesday October 26th. It's screening at the Hideout on Congress downtown. Sorry for the late notice, but hopefully some Dvxusers can make it out the screenings. I'll be there on the Tuesday screening as I unfortunately will be out of town on Saturday.
It's my first film to get into a festival besides the DVXuser fests. The DVXuser fests are great and motivate a lot of filmmakers on this board to make films that might not otherwise get made and creates some great projects because of it.
My film runs longer and there were quite a some reshoots so it's not exactly the 6 minute film that screened during QuestFest. It runs about 10 minutes now. Shot entirely with the 5dmkii and 7d.
Here is the trailer of the film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylhPekjLn5w
Here is the full version of the film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mpm42qBaWw0
Here is the original Questfest thread: Quest for Adventure
Again, Kudos to Dvxuser.com and the DVXfests and all the helpful people on this site.
Best Regards,
Andy
