Quality ND/IRND 4x4 Filters for FS100?

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, so feel free to point me to a thread if it has. Lots has been discussed on IRND filters on a Red, but didn't see much in regards to the FS100.

I'm currently in the process of making a switch from a DSLR (5d3) setup to a FS100. The goal is to move to a FS700 pretty quickly once funds become available (maybe in 3 to 6 months), but I figured with the current used prices of the FS100, I could get a head start since most of parts / accessories are compatible.

I'm looking for a solid set of 4x4 ND filters for the FS100. Coming from a stills background, I already have a lee foundation kit with a handful of graduated and regular nd filters. However, most of them have some of color cast (Big Stopper, for example) or are cheaper resin filters (Formatt/Hitech .3/.6/.9 NDs) which I would get nervous about stacking. Coming from the 5d, I never really needed more than a .9ND + polarizer (maybe 5 stops) but it sounds like with a base ISO of 500 + metabones speed booster, I could be anywhere in the 7 - 9 stop range.

I don't do a whole lot of run n gun type stuff, so I'm trying to skip any variable NDs. I plan to use a mattebox most of the time, and can use my lee 4x4 holder if I need something a little lighter. Will be using it mostly on EF mount glass or the 18-200 kit lens.

I've been looking at the Tiffen and Schneider Platinum 4x4s. I think ideally, all I would need is a .9ND and a 1.5/1.8ND or maybe two 1.2NDs along with a polarizer and that should cover most of my needs. My biggest worry would be big color casts from stacking or whether I need some sort of IR filtration.

If anyone has any experience with any of these filters, any help would be appreciated! I think I may be worrying more than needed, but it seems like any of the higher stop NDs filters I've used before always had pretty strong color casts on them.

Thanks!

Can't tell about the Tiffen or Schneider, but they always come recommended more than many other brands.
I, personally, bought a set from Cavision (0.6 - 0.9 - 1.5). They are Glass filters as well and perform quite well despite the low price (~60$/pc). Not much color cast, barely noticeable. Slight blueish tint, but nothing I haven't been able to correct in post.
I'm not using pro gear, but with my T2i, it gives decent results and doesn't suffer from bad quality.

Philip Bloom talks a lot about this the Heleopan is the best variable nd filter out there for the money, I own one and it works great.

Just wondering. Do you guys use this one variable ND filter for all your lenses? What about using a professional Mattebox like the Redrock Micro or the Shoot35 Cinebox ? Sure, you have to add the ND filters separately, but I think it's more flexible and effective? Also, I'm pretty sure I heard Philip Bloom say that a variable ND filter was no substitute for an inbuilt ND dial, like the one the AF100 has. I was surprised to hear this as i always thought a Mattebox was the best option for controlling incoming light.
