Quality concern.... D7000 SOS HELP!!!

Samuel:
Yeah, I researched it in the last few days and I officially decided to drop RAW. I will test it, why not?, but for the feature it would put to much pressure on me and the costs, and I have enough pressure without it already :)

stokstad:
Yeah, I know, but.... the notion of 2K is tempting :) But I try to think of it as an evil temptation and try to avoid it :D

I owned all the toys - d90 -> D7000 -> D800 . I used the D7000 to death primarily as a video DSLR and was not disappointed with the results. Like all cameras, it had its weaknesses but I was able to work around them, most annoyingly having to exit live-view to change the aperture. That and its dismal audio quality without an external recorder were its major flaws, image quality not so much. I haven't worked with the newer cameras other then the D800 but I'd aim for one that has similar control functions. leaving live view to change exposure settings is not a valid option, especially if your connected to external monitors.
