QTP=pissing me off!

Hi, sorry to sound a little angry in the title but i've nearly punched out my monitor already. Recently i got a virus and had to reinstall windows vista, and i forgot all my settings and whatnot for render & compression in Sony Vegas 9.0 and Quicktime Pro. I've tried exporting a video i made out of Vegas in completely uncompressed .avi format and various other formats, and for some reason, when i import it into quicktime pro to compress it, it doesn't allow me to check the box for audio, it's all gray. It's letting me adjust everything in video, but not audio, can anyone help?

that doesn't really help....

well that avs converter didn't work well, i'd try to convert the files to .mov, but when i try to make a custom setting it gives me an error message. GRRRRR
