QT question

I have read here and elsewhere that some people were having problems with the QT 7.4.1 upgrade, so I have held off upgrading the AP in my G5 Quad... I am about to purchase a new MacPro, which will come with the latest QT pre-installed..

Is this version still causing problems w/ P2 files? If so, what are the solutions?
