Qio/Caldigit VR-Estata on a laptop

Wondering about hooking a Sonnet Qio and a Caldigit VR to my laptop via Express34. Looking for speed in the field. Offloading E series cards. Going into a 15" MacBook Pro with ExpressCard34 slot.

From Sonnet's QIO Page:

"Qio also has 4 eSATA connectors, enabling you to connect 2 Sonnet Fusion F2 portable 2-drive RAID SATA storage systems (not included) and copy files between them with ease--you can also connect 4 drive enclosures such as Sonnet's Fusion D400QR5 (not included) and Fusion D500P (not included) with access to as many as 20 drives, thanks to Qio's support of port multipliers and integrated hardware RAID controllers. "

Question:

Does this mean I can plug my Caldigit VR Esata connection into the Qio and the Qio into an Expess34 adaptor on my MacBook Pro and see the 250MB/s speed they quote?

Thanks for any and all help

Rich
