GH4 [Q] Any viewfinders work with GH4 with Aputure LensRegain.

I have been researching to find an LCD viewfinder that fits with the LensRegain. I don't want to use a glue on one. Any luck guys?

Part of the LensRegain adapter hangs down below the base of the camera, unfortunately vewfinders use a base plate (in order to secure itself to the camera) which collides with the LensRegain as the plate is much longer than the depth of the GH4. Because the viewfinder relies on proprietary base plate you can't just swap it for another.
 
Looks a lot like that device is designed to work with a short lens bridge to attach to a 15LWS rail system, which would give you he option to attach a viewfinder to some part of the rail or cage.

That seems to be my only option, although I'm trying hard to keep it light! It would be awesome if there were other base plates available to avoid having to do that.
 
How about a SmallRig half cage with no rods? Would give you some threaded holes on top for the monitor without adding a lot of bulk.
 
I have decided to get either the Came TV or SevenOak cage as they come with a quick release riser plate and have clearance for the adapter and I will make my own mount for the viewfinder if required. Thanks for helping guys
