PX270 - Problem streaming

Hi everybody. I've a lot of problems streaming the video directly from the camera. I tried using a LAN connection, but I'm able to reach the stream just on the local network, not on a different network. On panasonic manual I did not found how to set the camera. Did someone of you tried it and could help me?

Tks

Information is quite sketchy on this topic. I do not think many people inside Panasonic even know how this part of the camera works. When I called and asked questions all I really got was a few PDF files and the promise to look into it. Call tech support and ask to speak to a field engineer. They are probably your best chance.

I already tried to contact Panasonic, but the support just forward me the brochure. When I asked more information, they redirected me on the retailer...

No, I realized live streaming is way too complicated for me to want to try as I do not think the money is there from clients to support the effort involved. Basically it sounds good but in practice the numbers did not work out from a business point of view.

I was looking into streaming live sports but being outdoors the tech vs portability challenges are too much. The thought of taking the signal straight from the camera to somebody on the internet seemed easy but there is a lot more involved. On top of that, who wants to watch sports from one camera without graphics and an announcer? Yes, we are quite spoiled with the level of television broadcasts these days. And "streaming" anything is in that vein. So when people ask I will have a very high price or a polite "no".

I have a thread about this from a few months ago which another member was kind enough to share their thoughts which put me on the right path.
