This seems to be the forum to discuss the PX270 cameras. I'm about to purchase two this week for studio setup in a church setting. I'm not going to be purchasing the AK-HRP200 controller right away but I'm planning ahead to some time next year when I'm able to. I understand that with the latest firmware on both the camera and controller that I can use the controller for CCU control of the camera over wired LAN. The question I have is whether I can hook up a tally signal to the controller that will be passed on to the camera. I know the controller has an RS-422 connection that the instruction manual says is for future use. I'm wondering if this would be the way to hook that up or if there's any other way to get tally to these cameras.
