OTHER: PX-270 Proxy recording only available on 60i shooting modes? No 24p or progressive?

So I tried to enable proxy recording on a recent shoot and was scratching my brain trying to find it and enable it.
After I got home and dug into it I found out you can use it in 59.98p scanning modes. I shoot primarily in Intra100/24p.

Why did they limit this to 59.98i modes only? Seems useless.

I wondered this myself. Maybe Barry knows. Could it be a processing power issue for the other frame rates. I use this feature and it is very useful, but mainly for sports shooting. If needed 24p I would be unhappy.

I never delved into it. I think that proxy recording may not have even been enabled on the preproduction unit I had access to, so I don't know that I ever even got to try the feature. I don't know what limitations it has or why they're there.
