GH2 "Push focus" while recording video

I hear one is supposed to be able to "half press" the shutter during video recording to refocus, if "Continuous auto focus" is turned off in the menu. Whenever I'm in the middle of video recording and I touch the shutter, the recording stops. What am I doing wrong? I tried this with the 25mm DG Summilux m/43rds lens.
Thanks,
Shawn

I have been using the touch screen for focus adjustments while recording with mixed results. For locked down/scripted shots I get a great result some/most of the time with multiple takes. For live stuff it isn't worth the risk to have the lens "searching" for that focus point. Especially when that focus point isn't stationary and doesn't lock on in which case the focus doesn't seem to move at all. I am still playing with it though.

Figured it out myself. In addition to disabling "Continuous Auto Focus" in the menu, you must:

It's not just a simple "half-click". You have to half-click and HOLD. HOLD being the key word. You have to hold the half shutter for 2-3 seconds, then a green box appears on the LCD and it refocuses.
Also during this half/click hold, you can adjust the focus manually by rotating the focus ring.
