Push AF/AE?

Is there a way to configure the A7s to get Push AF or AE? I want to keep the camera in manual focus/exposure but be able to quickly switch on AE/AF for a second.

Also so is there a way to lock the shutter dial?

If you are in manual mode then you should be able to use the AF/MF button to auto focus, just press the button

The switch needs to be in the upper position otherwise that button will do AE/AF lock

Cool, so it looks like Push AF is possible...but not Push AE?

Flip the switch back to the lower position, and then yes the button will act as push AE.

In Movie mode(manual exposure), pushing the AEL button does not seem to do anything. It just shows a star symbol on the bottom right hand corner of the display.

Oh yea, my bad, I only wanted to test it so I was in shutter priority. I'm always in manual, but never tested the button while in it, I dont belive it would work in manual mode, at least while in movie mode.
