purple "halo" or "fog" on images

Has anyone seen this in there footage? I am getting a purple halo on images that also sometimes presents as fog.

using nikon 2.8 17-35, 2.8 28-70, 2.8 80-200 with the adaptimax adapter. present on all lenses. mostly occurs outside but also seen indoors under sodium vapor lights.

that's "fringing." it's not exclusive to the camera or your lens.

I wish I had an absolute solution, but I still get this as well. AND unfortunately I haven't been able to detect it until after already having captured a shot. What does seem to lessen this effect is to not shoot wide open for shots with high contrast such as yours (foliage against sky) and combine with a UV filter.

Be very particular about avoiding any spill light onto front lens elements. Use shades, hoods and flags.

I'm going to add an Obox to my kit with proper filters. I really enjoy shooting with the AF100 and was hoping it could be fixed with a matte box and filters. Thank you guys for the advice.
